JEDDAH: A National Academy for Energy in Dammam and a private technical technical college, both exclusively for women, will be opened in the Easter Province.

The General Organization of Technical and Vocational Training is in the process of implementing two new projects, in addition to 20 schemes, in the Eastern Province, local media said on Monday

The projects include a energy academy in Dammam, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of the current year. Bids have been invited for the technical college in Alkhobar.

The other projects include replacement of buildings at the technical college for boys in Dammam, new technical colleges for boys in Al-Ahsa, Al-Baqiq and Al-Khobar, an electronic training building at the Technical College in Qatif, a new branch building for boys’ college at the Secondary Industrial Institution in Qatif.
