People in Eastern Province possess a high level of awareness about traffic safety, which is reflected in their culture and their collective level of consciousness on road safety, said Jubail Traffic Department Director Col. Saud Al-Otaibi.

“The nature of work in the numerous large industrial corporations has had a positive impact on employee punctuality and sense of responsibility. Adhering to traffic rules at roundabouts is one such example,” said Al-Otaibi. Jubail represents a good example of smooth traffic flow, he said.

Very few accidents have been recorded at Jubail’s roundabouts,” he added.
