An expatriate resisting arrest stabbed a police officer in Jazan.

The officer was stabbed in the shoulder with a sharp object during an attempt to arrest three Africans. The men were eventually taken into custody.

The police seized knives, sharp machinery, iron hammers and more than SR20,000. During the scuffle, a policeman shot one of the men in the leg. The injured individuals are being treated at a local hospital.
