The family of Mohammad Qirati, who used to work transporting bodies, is facing tragedy in Manfouha after an unfortunate chain of family disasters. Qirati is almost 60 years old and suffers from a heart ailment, while his wife suffers from kidney failure and tumors.

For this family, sufferings didn’t stop there, but increased after the loss of two of the family’s children in a traffic accident, that also left their daughter with partial paralysis.

Qirati said five years ago he developed a heart disease while his wife began suffering from kidney failure.

He said his problems increased after his son died in a traffic accident in Asir, while his 16-year-old daughter who was with her brother, suffered from partial paralysis after the accident. Another one of his sons died in a separate traffic accident in Jazan.

Aside from health problems and mourning for missing children, the Qiratis also have money woes added to their sorrows. Mohammad Qirati explained that he incurred in huge debt when he took his daughter to be treated in the Czech Republic but he had to drop the treatment because he had no money left.

According to the man, his daughter needs stem cell implants to be able to walk again, but the cost of such treatment is beyond his means.

The Qiratis are now waiting either for a miracle, or the miraculous appearance of a benefactor that will help them make their daughter walk again.
