Makkah's Education Directorate decided to issue work cards for teachers, similar to those issued to educators more than 18 years ago.

Makkah's Education Directorate director general Mohammad Mahdi Al-Harithi issued a circular to all schools explaining the new system, which will be used to issue the card through the website.

Once an application is filled and approved by the principal, it will be sent to human resources along with a copy of the ID.

These cards were first issued to male teachers and they are the first of their kind to be given to female teachers, detailing the nature of the work, to keep in line with other government agencies.
