Ambassador Ezzedin H. Tago led an embassy team that visited Filipinos in strife-torn Yemen last week.

The envoy met with the Filipino community, while his team rendered consular services on Wednesday and Thursday.

The envoy’s team is composed of Consul Jennifer Dingal and Attaches Noly Dulay and Melchor Balladolid.

The services rendered included passport encoding, notary services for various legal documents and reports of marriage and birth.

Ambassador Tago also inducted to office the new set of officers of the Filipino Community in Yemen (TFCY), the only community organization of Filipinos there.

There are 691 Filipinos working in Yemen based on the embassy’s online database.

The embassy has urged all Filipinos to access its website on www.royadhpe.dfa.gov.ph and register and complete all the requested information on the online forms.
