Asir’s Passport Department has embarked on issuing Saudi passports electronically through the “Abshir” online service.

Applicants can fill out applications online and report to the local passport department to receive their passports.

Maj. Abdullah Al-Hadi, Asir Passport Department spokesman, said this service and all other electronic services provided online by the department aim to facilitate procedures for citizens.

Al-Hadi called on citizens to benefit from the electronic service to save time and effort and reduce bureaucratic procedures.
