The police recently arrested four youths in their twenties for stealing goods from large malls in the city.

Police officers arrested the four after receiving a tip-off from a member of the public. They were arrested with the goods in their car. Further investigations are underway to see if they have accomplices.

The suspects confessed that they had stolen the goods from various stores in the capital, including Saqra district.

In a related incident, a Pakistani worker, living in the Manfouha district, was arrested for alleged burglary of a warehouse in the area. The suspect is in his twenties.

Riyadh Gov. Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz has ordered the Riyadh police to intensify their search for criminals and illegal workers.

The police have arrested more than 700 expatriate workers over the past two weeks for breaking the law. Investigations are continuing into their crimes.
