RIYADH: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) will participate in the Saudi Colors Forum, the largest event in the Kingdom for photography and short films on tourism, culture and heritage.

The fifth edition of the week-long forum to be held under the patronage of Prince Sultan bin Salman, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH), will open on Dec.11 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC).

Bassim bin Abdullah Al-Saloom, GACA vice president for communication and marketing, said the GACA’s participation in the forum is part of its efforts to support homegrown talents. “Moreover, our participation will help us introduce the GACA’s achievements made during the past years to community members, besides introducing them to its current and future projects,” he said.

A photography contest launched by the GACA, ‘Join us for a moment’ invites participants to send in pictures of Saudi airports, or pictures taken from the window seat of an airplane, which will be displayed in a special pavilion at the event.

The photo that will get the most number of visitor votes will be declared the winner.
