The Department of Criminal Investigation at the Riyadh Police Department has nabbed a five-member gang that specialized in stealing expensive cars and changing some of their features. They would also rent cars through fake documents. They stole 32 cars before being caught.

Riyadh Police received several calls about stolen cars, and after tracing the calls and conducting extensive investigation, police were able to decipher a pattern in their theft operations.

Based on these observations, the search was expanded and information about suspects who might be connected with these crimes, who often had prior criminal records, was collected.

Suspects were placed under surveillance and charges were filed against five unemployed individuals based on the evidence. It was proven they had committed more than 32 crimes in different parts of Riyadh. Their thefts were limited to expensive four-wheel drive cars.
