RIYADH: Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar greeted the 13th batch of students of Prince Sultan University at a function here.
“I greet each one of you. This is a milestone in your life as you receive your bachelor’s and graduate degrees as partial fulfillment of your dreams,” he said.
“Your graduation is both an end and a beginning and a milestone in your journey in life as you strive to realize your dreams and ambitions,” he said.
“It’s an end of your education in a certain course and a beginning of another academic endeavor to pursue further studies,” he said.
The prince said they’re a pride of their parents who had toiled hard to send them to school and their country, which counts on them in the future.
“The Kingdom does not only ensure security for you and your respective families but also depend on you at the same time in the future,” he said.
He said: “You’ll be at the helm of government, a business leader, entrepreneur, and many more so that this event is a red-letter day not only for you and also for your country as well.”
“It goes without saying that I join you, your parents and your country in celebrating this event. It gives me extreme happiness that are beyond words,” the Riyadh governor said.
He also expressed happiness on how the university has grown both in the number of students it had turned out as well as in prestige as an academic institution.
Prince Faisal bin Bandar attributed it to the dynamic leadership of Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Ayyaf, PSU chairman of the board of trustees.
“He has indeed successfully guided the university in scaling greater academic heights. I therefore thank him as well as the deans and faculty members,” he said.
