A grand ifthar program will be held here on Monday for Sri Lankans in the capital, the Sri Lankan Embassy announced here.

The annual event is sponsored by the Sri Lankan Embassy in cooperation with the country's Muslim philanthropists living in Riyadh. The Telemoney section of the Arab National Bank is also contributing to the event. The program is fully funded by the members of the Muslim community and members of the private sector also would participate in hosting the guests for the ifthar.

The open house iftar will be held at the Golden Palace Wedding Hall, located opposite the Malaz Football Stadium. The event is open to Sri Lankan families and singles. Ambassador Vadivel Krishnamoorthy said the forthcoming event will display the communal harmony practiced by the Sri Lankan communities living in the Kingdom.
