Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah will begin an official visit to Paris on Tuesday, an official from the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.

During his three-day visit, Al-Rabeeah will hold talks with French Health Minister Marisol Touraine and other senior officials from the French government to strengthen bilateral relations in the health sector. There are currently 2,833 French doctors working in the Kingdom.

In addition to attracting French doctors to the Kingdom, the minister is also expected to boost bilateral cooperation in enhancing the medical treatment of Saudi citizens who suffer from rare diseases. Al-Rabeeah’s visit is also aimed at initiating medical research and conducting studies and training programs between health officials from the two countries.
