Heavy rains across Al-Baha has caused numerous accidents leading to multiple injuries and one death. A worker died and another one was injured after heavy machinery fell in a hole in Baljarshi governorate. Furthermore, four nurses and a doctor were involved in a car accident causing minor injuries, while heavy rain required the Civil Defense to close a commercial center after water leaked into the premises.

Press spokesman for Civil Defense in Al-Baha Col. Jmaan Dayes Al-Ghamidi said the rain affected areas included Al-Baha, Bani Thibyan, Bani Farwa and Bani Sar, as well as Bedih, Al-Shatbiya, Qarn Thabi and Al-Jowwah. The rains resulted in a number of accidents and blocked roads due to flashfloods. He pointed out that Civil Defense responded to a number of cases in various governorates because of heavy rain.

Spokesman for the Red Crescent Imad Mansi Al-Zahrani said rescue teams in Baljarshi dealt with an accident involving the slipping of a heavy machine inside a hole. A worker died and another one was seriously injured. Paramedics performed first aid and the injured person was taken to Baljrashi General Hospital for treatment.

A car affiliated with health affairs in Al-Baha which had four nurses and a doctor inside overturned causing minor injuries to the passengers. The press spokesman in Al-Baha claimed heavy rain caused the accident on King Abdulaziz road in Al-Qura governorate, and the nurses and the doctor were taken by Red Crescent to Al-Qura General Hospital.
