A hotel facility in Al-Baha has been fined SR10,000 by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) for violating standards and offering poor services.

“The commission fined for various violations, including operating without a license and exhibiting poor hygiene standards and poor customer care services,” said an SCTA official on Monday.

The action was taken in response to a complaint submitted by a citizen on the SCTA’s Twitter account @sctasa.

The complaint was then referred to the SCTA’s local branch in Al-Baha. Officials of the branch made a surprise visit to the venue, where it uncovered the violations.
