The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) is due to host, in cooperation with the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the third Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Conference and Exhibition for human resources development (HRD) next month.

It is the first such event to be held outside the US under the aegis of Minister of Labor Adel Faqeih from March 8 to 10, with ATD as HRDF's strategic partner. International and local experts in the field of training and human capital development will also participate.

According to a HRDF source, the event aims to support manpower development and training programs in Saudi Arabia. It will identify new trends in advancing talent, best practices and applied solutions with experts and specialists.

The three-day event will bring together specialists in the field of training and HRD from the Middle East and North Africa region to discuss the new trends and mechanisms in human capital development. It is set to assist the private sector enterprises and human resources community, including specialists and stakeholders.

The HRDF sources added: "The conference will cover fields related to training and HRD issues, such as analysis of educational performance indicators, investment in human capital, the design of educational and training programs, and recent trends in integrated learning. Other areas include modern practices in the management and development of competencies, as well as a focus on leading business and successful practices.”

He added that HRDF programs and initiatives will be reviewed during the conference and is intended to boost the labor market in the fields of rehabilitation, training and employment, and in order to raise the efficiency of job seekers in the Saudi labor market.

Local and international exhibitors from leading organizations in the field, including institutes and training centers, are participating in the expo where they will show their services, such as their e-services exhibition, advisory services, and distance education programs.
