The Girls’ Middle Section of IIS Dammam Section organized a colorful program on national integration that stressed the need for all Indians to be united so that they can march on to progress and prosperity. The presentation of the program highlighted the diversity of Indian culture and a musical skit added color to the event.

India, with 22 different languages, five major ethnic groups and four major world religions all in one place, faces problems including communalism, linguistic fanaticism, regionalism, social disparity and economic inequalities, as was reported during the event. “A nation is built not only on money or resources but mainly by people. If the people of a nation don’t stand united, anarchy and chaos will reign,” it added.

The logo of the Annual Educational Exhibition entitled Spectra-2014 scheduled for Dec. 21-22, was released by Abdulla Manjeri, chairman of the managing committe and was designed by Noora Thasneem. The chairman expressed his appreciation of the girls’ performance on the all-important theme of unity in diversity.
