The International Indian School Jeddah’s graduation ceremony for its outgoing class 12 students here on Wednesday was marvelous in terms of high-level participation, inspiring speeches and excellent organization.

Mohammed Fahad Al-Harthi, editor in chief of Arab News, was the chief guest at the function, which saw 507 12th graders receiving course completion certificates at the applause of their parents and teachers.

In his keynote speech, Al-Harthi highlighted the tremendous contributions being made by the IISJ since its inception, providing valuable education and guidance to the children of Indian guest workers in the city.

Al-Harthi, Indian Consul General Faiz Ahmad Kidwai, school observer Muhammed Raaghib Quraishi, higher board member Kareemuddin and managing committee Chairman Khursheed Akhtar distributed certificates to the graduates.

In his speech, Kidwai warned the graduates against losing sight of their goals while enjoying their college life. He asked the parents to be a friend and a guide to their children.

Principal Syed Masood Ahmed welcomed the gathering and advised the graduates to be selective in their career. The head boy and the head girl thanked their parents and teachers while reminiscing their school life.
