A lecture-cum-seminar on education will be held at the boys section of the International Indian School, Jeddah, on Saturday, according to Irshad Ahmad, consul, press, information and culture.

It will be addressed by K.V.L. Narasimham, director (technical) of the Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL), who is visiting Jeddah at the invitation of the Consulate General of India.

The lecture-cum-seminar is on higher education for students of Classes XI & XII of IISJ and all schools in Jeddah following CBSE curriculum. The lecture will provide information on reputed institutions for higher education in India and the procedures to be followed for admissions there.

EdCIL, which was conceived and incorporated as a public sector enterprise by the government of India in 1981, offers consultancy services in different areas of education and human resource development not only within the country but also globally.

Admission to the event is open to all Class XI and XII students besides parents and staff of CBSE schools in Jeddah and nearby towns.
