The Mujahideen Force in Jazan’s Faifa governorate arrested 71 illegal residents and seized two cars loaded with Qat and weapons. Spokesman for the Mujahideen, Khaled bin Quzaiz, said the Force’s squad raided several locations and arrested a number of Yemeni and Ethiopian nationals, of whom 60 were handed over to the Expatriates Department in Jazan and 11 were turned over to the police.

The car loaded with Qat was confiscated by the Narcotics Department and the other car was taken to the Aiban Police station.

Authorities have increased security operations in and around the Faifa mountains. They raided caves and deserted houses and scoured roads the infiltrators use to reach towns.
