Acquiring a farm for raising cows and goats changed a Saudi woman’s life. She has become the proud owner of a factory which produces natural cheese, the first in the Kingdom.

Today, she makes 16 different types of cheese in addition to low-calorie biscuits. She is also preparing to make natural jams in addition to special pesto sauce and dried tomatoes.

Aziza Al-Ghanem said she originally wondered what she could do with large quantities of milk from both cows and goats. She began to think about making natural cheeses but she knew nothing about that so she, like many others, began to browse through the Internet.

Through the Internet, she learned about making cheese and her house then slowly began to become a factory. She said she started with white mozarella cheese and that her customers were pleased and happy with the product and its quality. She said the cheeses are fresh and natural and have no additives because cows and goats eat natural herbs and vegetation.

One of the benefits of natural cheese, she said, is that they contain “a bacteria to help maintain biological balance” inside the intestines and and helps the body to get rid of dangerous bacteria.

Her cheeses work against upset stomach, flatulence and protect the digestive system. Most people are in need of the nutrients which her cheeses supply and the cheeses are good for their health.

Al-Ghanem’s products became well-known after her participation in the Productive Families’ Festival sponsored by the Al-Ataa Women’s Society last year.
