The Indian Embassy in Riyadh, in association with Al-Majmaah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) will organize a multi-product Indian catalog exhibition, INDIA CATEX at Prince Salman Sports City in Al-Majmaah, on Wednesday.

Spelling out the details of INDIA CATEX, Surinder Bhagat, embassy spokesman told Arab News, “The exhibition will showcase a large range of catalogues, CDs and other publicity materials of Indian companies from various sectors of trade and Industry such as agriculture and food, automotives, chemicals, construction, building materials, electrical appliances, electronics, information technology, engineering goods, fasteners, home appliances, metals and minerals, machinery and equipment for various Industries, health, medical and pharmaceutical products, textile and garments, plastic products, investment, education and tourism.”

This is the first time that the embassy is organizing a commercial event in Al-Majmaah region, he informed.

Bhagat said the exhibition will be jointly inaugurated by the chairman of the Al-Majmaah CCI and Sibi George, deputy chief of the Indian mission, in the presence of the secretary general, board members of the chamber and prominent Saudi businessmen and investors.

The exhibition will remain open for visitors and businessmen until 9.00 p.m. on Wednesday.

He further said that the exhibition will be a unique opportunity for Saudi businessmen and investors to get leads to source products and services and explore possibilities of the setting up of joint ventures, investment opportunities and doing business in the various sectors of India’s trade and industry.

Catalogs and CD’s from a large number of Indian companies will be displayed and distributed free of cost at the venue, he informed.
