One more Pakistani Umrah pilgrim succumbed to his injuries sustained in Tuesday’s bus accident on the Jeddah-Makkah Highway, taking the death toll to five.

Mohammed Rafiuddin, from Lower Dir in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, died on Thursday morning at the National Guard Hospital in King Abdulaziz Medical city, official sources said.

The group of pilgrims from Pakistan were headed for Makkah from Jeddah to perform Umrah when their bus overturned near Bahra flyover on Tuesday.
