JEDDAH: The Insan Charity Committee for Orphans’ Care distributed more than 21,000 schoolbags worth SR2,147,600 among the students of primary and middle schools in all its 16 branches, according to a website.

The amount allocated for schoolbags was distributed through charging electronic cards used for families. The method was used to respect the dignity of the children without creating any sense of discrimination among themselves. The bag comprised all required school and stationery items.

Insan implements programs of educational care for students, both boys and girls. This also includes doing follow-ups of their studies, and strengthening and empowering those who have any problems in their studies.

The charity also organizes awards for those who excel in studies to encourage them and create a spirit of competition among them. This also helps instill the importance of education in their minds to develop self-confidence among them and willingness to strive for a better

future.

The charity runs a number of programs to bring out the children’s hidden talents and promote them in a bid for empowerment.
