JEDDAH: The Enforcement Court in Jeddah has ordered a private company to pay SR35 million to an expat worker, his dues accumulated over years.
Judiciary sources told a local daily that the details of the lawsuit involved long delays and stalling tactics on the part of the company to clear the dues.
The judge at the Court of Grievances issued a verdict in the favor of the expat who immediately took it to the Enforcement Court, which in turn issued an executive order, according to the report.
The sources said the amount is to be paid in part within five days of the notice.
