JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has vowed that the Kingdom would continue to support the Yemeni government under President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

At a meeting with Hadi at Al-Salam Palace here Monday, King Salman congratulated the Yemeni leader on his return to the country.

He said he would pray to Allah the Almighty that there is peace and security in the country.

Hadi, in response, thanked the Saudi government and the nations involved in the coalition to oust the rebels, for supporting his government.

He said the allied forces had provided all forms of assistance to his administration.

King Salman held discussions with Hadi on developments in the country, the SPA said. Those present at the meeting included Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, deputy crown prince, second deputy premier and minister of defense.

Others present were Minister of State and Cabinet Member Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of Finance Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Culture and Information Adel Al-Toraifi, and Chief of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan.
