QATIF: Three masked and armed men on Sunday set fire to a money-transfer office in the Miyas neighborhood in the province of Qatif.
Eastern Province Police Department media spokesman Col. Ziad Al-Ruqaiti said a security guard reported the incident to the police in Qatif Sunday morning. He said three masked men carrying machine guns set fire to the entrance of the office and to another money transfer office in front of it.
The act damaged the outside part of a nearby ATM.
The attackers escaped, said Al-Ruqaiti, adding that civil defense teams dealt with the fire immediately, and the police are investigating the crime, to identify the motives and the individuals involved.
