RIYADH: To fill up top posts like the directors of administrative and financial affairs at education departments the government has asked the candidates to outline their vision for future while applying for the said posts.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has issued direction in this regard requiring all those who wish to be considered for directors in the above departments to submit their future visions for developing these sectors as part of eight requirements for candidates. It asked directors of education to nominate three employees to be interviewed on the employment portal.
Candidates for these positions must have at least high school diplomas, and interviewees who are not selected in the first interview cannot be re-interviewed for the same post within a period of at least two years from the date of the first interview.
New requirements also include that the candidate much have at least five years of administrative or financial work experience, and must have three years of experience as directors of departments or administrative units. The employee’s professional performance reports in the last three years must indicate excellence in performance and no moral or regulatory penalties can have been issued against the employee.
The ministry urged all those wishing to be nominated to fill out the application form and submit their CV, personal information, and copy of their certifications and diplomas.
Meanwhile, the ministry has stopped issuing licenses to foreign and private schools in rented buildings not designed for educational purposes, and have given these schools a two-year grace period to move to other buildings designed for the correct purposes.
