The Ministry of Health (MOH) has achieved a new milestone by winning the Gulf Excellence Award in the field of health information, organized by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) of Ministers of Health recently.

MOH has won first place in the branch of “Awareness Poster,” first place in the branch of E-Business and third place in the branch of TV Message.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Khalid Al-Mirghalani, adviser to Minister of Health and General Supervisor of the administration of Media and Heath Awareness, said, “We are very thankful to the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah for his continuous support to the ministry’s center for media production.”

He added, “Our media production center aims to contribute to the preparation and production of educational programs in line with the directives of the ministry toward activating awareness-raising activities and promoting health awareness among all members of the society.”

The award won by the Saudi Ministry of Health aims to develop innovation and creativity among employees and people interested in information and health education in the GCC states.

It also seeks to encourage creative people to contribute to promoting health by influencing individuals and communities and encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyle.

MOH aims to highlight the efforts and initiatives of individuals and institutions working in the field of health education in order to promote the health of Gulf citizens, and strive to achieve the strategic goals of the health plans at the level of the GCC countries.
