Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, received Pakistani Prime Minister Mohammed Nawaz Sharif at the Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Thursday.

The crown prince welcomed the prime minister of Pakistan and his accompanying delegation "to their second home."

Sharif expressed happiness at visiting the Kingdom.

The prime minister said he has come to pay respect and extend good wishes for the speedy recovery and long life of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.

The Pakistani prime minister was reassured about the health of King Abdullah.

During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of the close relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields. They discussed latest regional and international developments.

From the Saudi side, Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin, intelligence chief Prince Khaled bin Bandar, National Guard; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, National Guard Minister Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, Riyadh Gov. Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of State Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Minister of State and Cabinet Member Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.

The Pakistani prime minister was accompanied by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi and Pakistan's Ambassador to the Kingdom Manzoor ul Haq.
