The National Anti-Corruption Commission, Nazaha, intends to probe Saudi sport clubs, the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and financial departments affiliated with the General Presidency for Youth Welfare in a bid to ensure they are free of corruption, a official told a local media.

Nazaha will review their financial statements as part of the commission’s plans to focus more on the sports sector in the wake of corruption allegations that have circulated among sport establishments.

Prince Abdullah bin Saeed, the head of the presidency, recently hosted Mohammed Al-Sharief, head of Nazaha, at his office. The two discussed several topics related to youth welfare activities and the upcoming investigation.
