Popular outsourcing agency VFS Global will open three centers in Jeddah, Abha and Tabuk to provide better services to the Indian nationals.

This was announced by the Indian Consulate in a press release issued on Sunday. “We are pleased to announce the commencement of our new passport/visa/consular outsourcing services from Jan. 1, 2015,” said the consulate. “The new arrangement aims to provide better services to the Indian diaspora living under the jurisdiction of the consulate.”

The three centers will be well equipped to deal with all kinds of passport, visa and consular attestation services. “The addresses of these centers would soon be available on consulate’s website and Facebook page,” said the statement from the consulate.

The consulate would send a consular official to Jeddah center everyday to deal with passport cases (wherein interview is required) and consular attestation cases (wherein presence of consular official is required). The consulate would also send a consular official to Abha and Tabuk centers (once every two months) to deal with passport and consular attestation cases.

The outsourcing agency would be conducting tours to give passport and consular attestation services (wherein presence of consular official is not required) to various urban centers, including Jazan, Najran, Yanbu (once every month) and Baha, Bisha, Qunfudah, Makkah, Taif and Madinah (once every two months).

“The consulate is making provisions to send a consular official as a part of the outsourcing agency’s tours on alternate occasion i.e. Jazan/Najran/Yanbu (once every two months) and Al-Baha/Bisha/Qunfudah/Makkah/Taif/Madinah (once every four months) to deal with passport cases (wherein interview is required) and consular attestation cases (wherein presence of consular official is required).

“The location and dates of these tours would soon be available on consulate’s website and Facebook page,” said the statement.

The consulate is planning to open another outsourcing center in Jeddah.
