Riyadh Gov. Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz accompanied by heads of delegations of the ongoing 22nd Arabian Gulf Soccer Cup 2014 visited the King Abdulaziz Historical Center here to see the exhibition of “Arabian Studies” at the National Museum.
Arabian studies expo is jointly organized by the National Museum and the King Saud University (KSU) represented by Arabian history and the culture study center.
Jamal Omar, director general of the National Museum said Wednesday that the governor and the accompanying guests viewed paintings and photos of the expo, which illustrate the culture of the Arabian Peninsula since prehistory.
“The governor’s visit to the exhibition comes under the government’s persistent attention and care toward the cultural heritage of the Kingdom in its different components,” Omar said.
