JEDDAH: A Royal Saudi Air Force helicopter on a training trip routine crashed in Taif on Sunday, killing the pilot.
Lt. Bandar bin Yahya Farhan Alfaifi tried to crash-land the aircraft due to a technical glitch when the incident happened, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said, quoting a Defense Ministry source.
Authorities are investigating, the report said.
