Nine medical centers in Hafr Al-Batin Province were fined a total sum of SR480,000 for committing a series of violations of health standards, Sabq.com online paper said.

Inspection teams of the Health Affairs Directorate in the province had earlier detected these violations following field visits to a number of pharmacies, medical complexes, hospitals, optical shops, and dental clinics, Health Directorate spokesman Abdulaziz Al-Inizi told the paper.

The irregularities included invalid licenses for the facilities, staff not being in possession of licenses or permits to practice the profession and insufficient medical equipment, he said.

The Health Affairs in the province will take all regulatory measures against any health facility not in compliance with the required quality standards related to health services, Al-Inizi underlined.
