JEDDAH: The director general of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority, Saleh Rasheed, has said that Sadeer Industrial City, which is regarded as one of the largest industrial cities in the Kingdom, possesses great capabilities that sets it apart as a major investment destination for local and international businesses. This is especially so after recent approvals regarding the construction of the airport in the industrial city.

It is also understood that Sadeer will move forward due to the train line that will pass through the industrial city.

Rasheed also said that the number of industrial cities across the Kingdom has doubled over the past few years with a growth rate of 145 percent over 7 years. "In 2007 there was only 14 industrial cities, but this increased to 34 cities at the end of 2014", said Rasheed.
