MINA: The Ministry of Haj has started receiving comments and feedback from pilgrims from inside the Kingdom about any negative observations or experiences they encountered during the Haj period, through the ministry’s online feedback portal.

A team is working to process the feedback and submit it to the authorities concerned in order to apply the necessary penalties against those who failed to provide quality services to pilgrims.

This year, more than 120,000 pilgrims registered and benefited from the online services program, which allowed them to choose their service providers, prices and additional services according to their needs.

Sources have revealed that the ministry successfully monitored the prices of Haj companies through the online program, preventing fake campaigns and price-hiking measures by fraudulent service providers, while facilitating easy access to all requirements for pilgrims from inside the Kingdom.

In turn, Haj companies were able to reduce expenditures, ensure the accuracy of their accounts, provide good services to pilgrims, and achieve transparency by disclosing their prices online.
