WASHINGTON: Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, received at his residence in Washington on Saturday a number of distinguished Saudi students in the United States, the Saudi Press Agency said.
During the event, he expressed pleasure at meeting the students and urged them to make it a point to return to home soon and use what they have learned to serve the nation.
He stressed that everyone, whether as students, officials, intellectuals or businessmen, has a role in nation-building.
Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States, also attended the reception.
In a speech, Saudi Cultural Attaché Mohammed Al-Issa thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for including Saudi students in the US who are studying at private expense to be included in the government scholarship program.
Al-Issa said everyone will be included, provided they met the conditions.
