RIYADH: The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH) headed by Prince Sultan bin Salman has launched more than 30 festivals and tourism events throughout the Kingdom on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

These festivals have also been launched to coincide with the event of the Kingdom’s 85th National Day celebrations.

These festival and tourism events have been launched in Riyadh province, Al-Dawadmi, Tabuk, Jazan, and the Eastern Province.

The Eastern Province has hosted 12 festivals and events including the Al Dokhla Festival in Al-Qateef, Cultural Dimension Exhibition in Alkhobar and fireworks in Dammam as well as in Alkhobar.

Al-Ahsa also hosts the Al-Ahsa Tourism Festival and Al-Ahsa Palm and Dates Festival in addition to the events of the National Day celebration across the municipality.

Asir province has hosted the Rejal Alm’a Festival for Tourism and Heritage. In Abha, the “From Here We Develop Our Products” festival was also launched.

Makkah has also played host to a shopping festival under the theme “Our family Eid” in Jeddah while the Northern Borders Region has hosted the “Family and Children’s Security” festival.

In Ar-ar, a shopping festival has also been launched, showcasing various unique local products sold at competitive rates. Included are souvenir items.
