Pakistan Consul General Aftab A. Khokher discussed with Asir Gov. Prince Faisal bin Khaled at his office on Tuesday issues relating to the Pakistani community in the Asir region, including expedition of pending labor issues, change of sponsorship and professions.

The consul general admired the economic strides made in Asir Province, especially in the fields of agriculture and education.

He appreciated the services offered by Asir Governorate toward Pakistani expatriate workers and added that the Pakistani Consulate has received prompt support from the governorate at all occasions.

Khokher also requested the provision of sports facilities and a community school for Pakistani expatriates in the region.

The governor assured the consul general that he would resolve all pending problems and gave his permission for the establishment of a free medical camp with Pakistani doctors to service Pakistani expatriates on a priority basis.

Tahsimul Haq Haqqi, community welfare attaché, accompanied Khokher on his visit.
