JEDDAH: The condition of two family members injured in the Turaif incident, in which the parents of the killer died, was stable, according to sources at Turaif General Hospital, said a website. The attacker, in his 20s, killed his parents and injured his 15-year-old brother and 23-year-old sister. They are now out of danger and their condition was stable.

The brother of the killer has minor to moderate injuries. The sister has a number of stab wounds to her hand and other parts of her body. Both are still under medical care.

The killer confirmed his statements in a Turaif court in front of a judge on Wednesday. He was remanded to detention, and Turaif police will complete their investigation before he is transferred to a prison.

A number of the victims’ relatives have said that the killer was a drug addict and has never been normal. When he committed the crime he was under influence of drugs. He was unemployed and had completed his middle and secondary school at evening school.
