TAIF: A woman in her 50s was killed by a speeding vehicle in front of her daughters on Al-Hada Road in Taif.

The woman was with other family members on the side of Hada Road in Taif, opposite King Fahd garden. She had crossed the road to use the public toilet in the garden. She was hit by a speeding vehicle while crossing back.

The woman lay on the road for quite some time. The scene disturbed onlookers who rushed to move her into the Red Crescent ambulance, which initially refused as she was dead. But when the people insisted, the ambulance agreed.
