Pakistan International School Jeddah-English Section (PISJ-ES) held its annual oath-taking ceremony for its student council body recently at the school premises.

Consul General Aftab Ahmed Khokher and Press Consul Sohail Ali Khan were the guests of honor.

Principal Imran Raza Khan welcomed the guests, students and teachers at the event.

Addressing the participants, Raza highlighted the important role being played by the teachers in grooming the new generation and their positive impact in molding the youth.

“PISJ-ES has always aimed at honoring the skills of potential leaders of Pakistan upholding the values of Pakistan’s founder Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah who gave his nation the message of unity, faith and discipline,” he said.

Raza assured the students of the school administration’s full support and guidance in seeking religious and worldly education.

Khokher announced that the inter-school debates will be organized on March 23 to enhance the communication skills of the students.

The consul general congratulated the newly elected Student Council and said that it was an excellent platform for building students’ confidence.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the national anthem of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
