Residents of Al-Muzahemiya are complaining about the frequent power outages in their district including the neighborhoods of Haddar, Alsquoriya, Alqrainiya, Andalus, Granada and Alhudaa. They have demanded that the Electricity Company find a solution to their problems especially in view of the high temperatures this season.

Head of the Electricity office in Al-Muzahemiya, Ibrahim Al-Thunaian said emergency teams received a report from a citizen saying there is no electricity in their neighborhood.

The teams moved to the location immediately and found that the outage had resulted from a car that had crashed into a high-voltage electricity pole north of King Abduaziz Street, near Eid Mosque. He said that the blackout had covered a large part of the district and work was in progress to restore electricity to the area.
