Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman has launched a service (Muamala) center at the city’s mayoralty. The center will speed up the provision of various services to citizens and residents.

“It will bring about qualitative improvement in the mayoralty’s services,” Madinah Mayor Khaled Taher told reporters on Tuesday. “People will be able to enjoy professional services at the center.”

Taher said the center would reduce the time for people to get licenses for shops and health certificates. “It will provide all services of the mayoralty gradually including issuance of construction licenses.”

The center was named Muamala inspired by a Hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that good dealing or behavior is the core of Islamic faith.
