Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman yesterday visited the headquarters of the Madinah Development Authority and signed a number of agreements with consultants for the development of the city.

Upon arrival at the headquarters, Prince Faisal was welcomed by Muhammad Al-Ali, secretary-general of the authority and other senior officials. The governor then visited the authority’s various departments.

Prince Faisal later chaired a meeting of the authority with the participation of Madinah Mayor Dr. Khaled Taher and other officials including director general of the Finance Ministry’s office in the region.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Mustafa Saleh, assistant undersecretary for development affairs and spokesman of the governorate, said Prince Faisal does not have an account on Twitter. He informed the public that the account that appears (@faisal_b_salman) with a fake photo does not belong to him. “Prince Faisal has nothing to do with this Twitter account,” Saleh said and urged the public to obtain information from authentic sources.
