Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal has agreed to visit Iraq in an appropriate time as he received an invitation from Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi, an official source at the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

Prince Saud met with Al-Abadi during the anti-IS coalition meeting in Brussels and discussed bilateral relations, the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in Iraq and Syria and other regional developments. Prince Saud wished every success for Al-Abadi government’s efforts to achieve reconciliation among the various Iraqi groups.

“They also discussed matters related to reopening the Saudi Embassy in Baghdad,” he said.
