RIYADH: The Education Ministry is considering to revoke licenses of some rented private and international schools that are not structurally equipped for the task of educating the Kingdom’s children.
Education Minister Ahmed Al-Isa is working to develop a strategic plan to increase quality of education services in the Kingdom in all sectors and across all levels of the education system.
Al-Isa recently spoke about the importance of sticking to the building design for new schools, in order to make sure that all of its structural aspects and equipment are safe and able to provide an attractive educational environment for school children and teachers alike. Teachers across the Kingdom have spoken out on the matter, labelling the revocation of licenses by the Education Minister as a brave step and the first of its kind.
