A sports education teacher, Hussain Al-Qasim, has died of a severe heart attack in front of students at Al-Shati Primary Boys School in Qatif.

The school faculty and students have expressed their deep regret for the death of Al-Qasim, who always acted with honesty, kindness and integrity while performing his duties. His students said that their teacher was very dedicated to sports education, and had instilled good Islamic ethics in his pupils.

Students reported that the teacher, originally from the area of Awwamiyya, suddenly fell to the ground while giving sports instructions to them. They immediately called the ambulance and the man was moved to the hospital. Further medical examinations of the man found that he had died of a sudden heart attack.

Jaffar Al-Khazal, a colleague of the teacher, said that Al-Qasim was one of the best teachers in the school, noting that his loss is very unfortunate for the administration, staff and students of the school. He added, “He was a good role model for teachers and students alike. His students loved him and are now very sad for his sudden departure.”
