TABUK: The Saudi National Campaign to Support the Syrian People has completed its Ramadan campaign to help Syrian families on the border areas between Syria and Turkey, distributing iftar meals to the displaced and those who have lost their homes. Food baskets were distributed to Syrian refugees in the Lebanese areas, also.

Head of the campaign in Lebanon, Waleed Al-Jalal, said the campaign targeted a variety of areas, seeking to deliver 30,000 tons of food aid to 711 Syrian families in the Akar region in Lebanon.

Head of the campaign in Turkey, Khaled Al-Salamah, said that the distribution in rural Aleppo sought to distribute 5,000 iftar meals and 500 other meals in Karak Khan Kalas in Turkey, and 5,500 iftar meals in Idlib and rural Hama.

Regional director of the campaign Dr. Bander Al-Samhan said that since the beginning of the holy month, things have been going according to plan and aid distributions will continue until the end of Ramadan.
